Like Kate Bosworth, I like to match a floating pleated skirt with a jersey tee and sporty platforms. I often dress like this, it’s a bit romantic, a bit casual, oh wow it’s really sunny today and I’m still wearing yesterday’s necklaces. It’s a nonchalant look that finds the last touch in the details. The chained mini bag, the tortoiseshell big sunglasses, the thin necklaces and the berry colours of the straps on the trainers.

E’ bello il mix di Kate Bosworth di gonna plisse’ fluttuante con tshirt di jersey e trainers con platform. Spesso anche io vesto cosi’, un po’ romantic, un po’ casual, ma quanto sole c’e’ oggi e ho ancora addosso le collane di ieri. E’ un look nonchalant che trova il tocco finale nei dettagli. La mini bag con catena, gli occhiali con montatura tortoiseshell, le catene sottili e i colori di bacche degli strappi sulle scarpe.

New York fashion week has always the same effect on me.. I like everything I see!

La New York fashion week ha sempre lo stesso effetto su di me.. Mi piace tutto!

Calla created a girlie, cool and nonchalant collection that has kind of sexy but comfy lines and  eclectic prints, coloured ink-jet style. I must say this collection really hit me because of the ability of the designer Calla Haynes strongly came up in showing something discrete, not too loud but perfect.

Calla ha creato una collezione cool, rilassata e femminile con abiti che cadono comodi ma anche sexy e dalle stampe eclettiche in stile getti di colore. Devo dire che questa collezione mi ha molto colpito per l’abilita’ della designer Calla Haynes di trovare la perfezione in un prodotto discreto e non troppo chiassoso.

J.Crew: they presented that lovely mix with silk blouses and trousers and knee-long skirts that could be loved by every girl.. I always think a modern Audrey could be seen often in J.Crew in her everyday life, walking down the streets of New York. Oh, and there has been nothing less but the preview of Manolo Blahnink’s shoes collection for J.Crew, classic and plain chic items in pastel and in flower and abstract prints: another reason to wait impatiently for the collection to be distributed.

J.Crew: hanno presentato quell’adorabile mix con top e pantaloni in seta e gonne al ginocchio che piace a ragazze di ogni stile.. Penso sempre che una modern Audrey potrebbe essere spesso vista in J.Crew nella sua vita di tutti i giorni, passeggiando per New York. Ah, e inoltre ha avuto luogo anche la presentazione della collezione di scarpe di Manolo Blahnik per J.Crew, classici plain e super chic nei toni sorbetto e in stampe floreali e astratte. Un’altra ragione per attendere con impazienza che la collezione esca!

This is definitely one for the boys! I always bought men’s clothes for myself (very small ones, considering my height..),and decided to do a Boys’ Day today. This below is a styling set inspired by an old photo of Morrissey. I thought of this set for a young man that travels and uses technology as well, and is also into comfortable and resistant designer clothing with a strong heritage of manufacture. In this set there are some of the brands I like the most for guys lately, APC (I like this one also for girls, actually), Ally Capellino (amazing manufactured leather bags for guys and girls directly from a little atelier in Shoreditch, London), sunglasses in tortoise shell (I love the style and they are very smart looking on men), and Levi’s (a classic). I put together the selection picking mostly from Mr Porter (Online) and Diverse Menswear (London Upper Street and Online). Let me know if you like it! If so I could start a Boys’ Day every week..
