It’s not a Spandau Ballet song, or, I mean, it is if you want.. Here are some of my picks for some golden wrapping up for winter parties.. And if you’ve never worn gold, just follow these rules to get the best look:

– Dare : it’s gold, so if you wanted to be pretty discrete or else probably you’ve chosen the wrong colour..

– Get inspired : I know, gold is not a colour we wear everyday, so to avoid last minute personality crisis before going out, choosing a “gold” icon to get motivated by can be a strong point (below some good ones..)

– Have fun! : If your girlfriends will tell you something about your extreme choice, probably they’re just envious because their glitter greens or reds can’t be as bright as your choice. Don’t get upset and remember you’re there to party! (..And forgive your girlfriends, come on, it’s Christmas!)

– Avoid the “bling” effect: if you’ve chosen to wear just a clutch or a golden accessory with some other bold/bright colour, keep the accessory amount discrete, so to avoid the Christmas tree effect ( nevermind if you’re going to a fancy dress party)
