Devo girare la frase al contrario perché mi piace vederla così. Mi piace vedermi parte della big family di Grazia.it senza pensare a lavoro, tempo brutto, o impegni in cui non mi voglio ritrovare: mi piace immaginarmi tra persone che condividono con me l’amore per ciò che è bello ma anche per ciò che è diverso e ci piace comunque per lo spirito d’innovazione che gli aleggia intorno.
Mi piace immaginare questo network dove la moda non è solo apparenza ma anche ispirazione ed estro, una voglia di scoprire il nuovo ed il bello e che ti spinge a cercare nuove immagini e forme, uscire di casa e vivere nuove storie da raccontare alle tue amiche appena torni a casa. Cerco l’autentico, l’irriverente, l’innovativo, e spesso mi trovo a sfogliarlo tra le pagine digitali di Grazia.it. Sono una curiosa nata, su Internet si cerca sempre di tutto, ed è bello scoprire un nuovo luogo innovativo dove la mia rivista preferita si dispiega con nuovi stimoli e sfaccettature.
Sono qui, spero mi troviate, anche se siete sempre di corsa come me, ma sempre autentiche.

This photo reminds me of a friend of mine that answered “girls riding a bike” to the question: “which is your kind of girl”? Alexa Chung in fact looks absolutely lovely in a flowered chiffon playsuit by Anna Sui, riding her bike in the streets of New York and wearing the super cute Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats.
Questa foto mi ricorda un amico che alla domanda “che tipo di ragazza ti piace?” rispondeva sempre: “quelle in bici”. Alexa Chung infatti sta benissimo mentre pedala con la sua bici per le strade di New York indossando una playsuit di chiffon di Anna Sui e le ballerine Kitty di Charlotte Olympia.

I got into this song little by little. I started to listen to it here and there while driving, or in some café in the evening. I like the multiplicity of voices that speak from the lyrics: we all felt like both ways at least once in our lives. The video, using the complicated pattern of triangles reflects as well the complications, angles and cuts that always end up coming out during relationships, despite the purposes we started with. Gotye defines himself as “not a club guy” that would not know how to consciously create a big pop hit, but He also says to put most of his effort writing the lyrics, and so he’s finding himself glad because of the huge success of the song. I think I like this tune: one of those that pop up on the radio while you’re driving around, that sounds like Sting in the Police Era.
Mi sono appassionata a questo pezzo poco alla volta. Ho iniziato ad ascoltarlo per caso mentre guidavo la macchina, o in qualche caffe’ la sera. Mi piace la molteplicita’ delle voci presenti nel testo: tutti ci siamo trovati in entrambi i punti di vista della canzone almeno una volta nella vita. Anche il video con il pattern di triangoli che ingloba le persone rimanda alla complessita’, ai tagli e agli spigoli che vengono sempre a crearsi nelle relazioni, a dispetto dei nostri propositi di partenza. Gotye si definisce “uno non da club”, che non saprebbe come comporre consciamente una grossa hit pop, ma dice anche di mettere molta energia nella scrittura dei testi, e quindi e’ molto felice che una canzone che non era stata concepita per un grande pubblico abbia raggiunto una tale popolarita’. A me sembra un bel pezzo: di quelli che ascolti in macchina alla radio, molto Sting ai tempi dei Police.

Here they are! The rockstar and the lovechild some kind of together in a (un)happy wedding setting, photographed by Mathieu Cesar for the Fall Winter Collection 2012/13 of Eleven Paris. Her in a silver biker jacket and a “Lana” (yes daisy chains got this name since Del Rey started to wear oversized roses variations in many occasions) flower headband and him in a pretty classy tuxedo. Surely both of them have the right irriverent mood and sense of humour to embody the I just don’t mind spirit of the brand. Still, I must say, despite the fact that He can be a good model in a smart suit, as a true rock’n'roll fan I always hope to see again Iggy Pop barechest and live on stage when He’s singing Raw Power.

Lei in chiodo argentato e una corona di fiori “Lana” (si’, ormai si chiamano cosi’ le coroncine di fiori dopo che miss Del Rey ha lanciato la versione oversize con rose) sulla testa e lui in un elegante tuxedo. Senza dubbio entrambi sono i personaggi giusti per incarnare il mood irriverente e col giusto sense of humour dello spirito I just don’t mind tipico del brand. Pero’, devo ancora aggiungere, da vera fan del rock’n'roll aspetto sempre di rivedere Iggy Pop a petto nudo sul palco mentre canta live Raw Power.

The pink haired model Charlotte Free is the new face of the eco label Edun. You can watch her and other models (including Lana Del Rey’s Blue Jeans and Born to Die tattooed “bad boy” co-star Bradley Soileau) directed by Ryan McGinley in the video Beautiful Rebels, where they interact with the graceful flight of exotic butterflies.
